On December 12, 2020, nine-year-old Haley “Haleybug” Chandler received a diagnosis no child should ever face—cancer. A bright and energetic fourth grader, she suddenly found herself in the fight of her life. Just ten days later, she began chemotherapy, stepping onto the toughest track she’d ever encountered.
Determined to fuel her battle with hope, Team Haleybug Racing was born—starting with just one car, driven by love and a mission to lift Haley’s spirits. Today, Haleybug is cancer-free, thriving, and inspiring others. And what started as one car has ignited into a movement, with over a dozen race cars proudly carrying the #TeamHaleybug banner.
Our mission? To race for the warriors still fighting, to stand with the families navigating this journey, and to champion the organizations making a difference. Every lap, every race, every moment—we are driving toward a world where no child fights alone.
